Job summary

Concentra, Inc is seeking an X-ray Technician in Pensacola to perform routine radiologic procedures under supervision and support in clinic operations. You will prepare patients, operate equipment, and ensure safety and quality of care while maintaining documentation and patient flow.

The role requires a High school diploma or GED, a state-approved Limited Scope Technician certificate, CPR/First Aid, and at least six months of medical assistant experience, with X-Ray experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Completion of state approved Limited Scope Technician certificate program and license by the state in which employed, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• Customarily at least six months of medical assistant experience with medical terminology.
• Customarily at least six months of X-Ray experience and familiarity with routine procedures.
• Occupational medicine knowledge preferred; prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist in positioning, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images and adhere to exposure guidelines.
• Apply radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain and calibrate x-ray equipment; report malfunctions.
• Handle front/back office duties and accurate documentation.
• Support medical staff during examinations and treatments.
