Job summary

Western Orthopaedics, P.C. in Denver, CO is seeking an X-Ray Technician PRN to perform radiologic diagnostic procedures and operate imaging equipment. The role requires maintaining licensure, ensuring safety, and preparing the room with needed supplies for procedures.

The successful candidate will have a Radiology Technology degree, ARRT certification, and 2 years of training or experience, with proficiency in EHR systems and basic office software.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree from an accredited school for Radiology Technology.
• 2 years training in an accredited school for Radiology Technology is required.
• Minimum of 2 years basic x-ray experience and/or trauma work is preferred.
• Must have a current ARRT and license in accordance to state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by ordering provider.
• Perform necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed.
• Maintain patient comfort and adhere to proper safety procedures.
• Contribute to the teamwork, philosophy of the clinic.
• Assume responsibility to maintain and improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with the support and assistance of outside educational resources.
• Responsible for maintaining current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure.
• Properly record patient information and maintain EHR.
• Assist with general patient care as needed.
