Job summary

Imaging Group in Irvine, CA seeks a qualified radiologic technologist to perform musculoskeletal X-ray exams, including extremities and spine, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and image quality.

Candidates must hold ARRT certification, CPR, and be familiar with CIS, RIS, and PACS. A high school diploma and accredited training are required, with excellent communication and patient-care skills expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current CPR certification and Venipuncture license.
• ARRT certification required with specific certification.
• Competency in CIS, RIS, and PACS systems.
• Basic Life Support certification obtained.

Responsibilities

• Proper and safe handling of musculoskeletal X-rays including extremities and spine.
• Maintain patient care, confidentiality, and safety during procedures.
• Ensure accurate image capture and documentation for imaging studies.

Job description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate should be trained in the proper and safe handling of standard musculoskeletal x-rays, including extremities, as well as cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.

Required Experience/ Education

• At minimum, a high school diploma and completion a training program at an accredited school.
• MUST have current CPR and Venipuncture license.
• ARRT Certified with specific certification
• Demonstrate competency in the use of all applicable aspects of the CIS, RIS, and PACS.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of clinical X-Ray
• CRT Permit from the State
• Good understanding of providing superior patient care; comfort, safety and confidentiality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, peers and management.
