Job summary

MBI Industrial Medicine in Colorado is seeking an X-Ray Technician to support the clinic team with radiology procedures and related Medical Assistant duties.

The ideal candidate will hold an active CO X-Ray license, have radiology training from an accredited program, and demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills. This role may require shift flexibility and occasional travel to other clinic sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduated from an accredited Radiological Sciences program.
• Current CO X-Ray License in active status.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in patient care preferred.
• First Aid/ CPR certification required or completed within 60 days of employment.
• Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely radiology procedures for evaluation by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks on radiologic equipment.
• Perform in-house lab tests including drug screens and urinalysis; process specimens.
• Maintain records/logs of in-house lab work and x-rays sent to labs.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and patient satisfaction.
• Cross-train for front desk duties and assist with patient check-in/out.
• May work alternate shifts and float to other clinic locations.
• Assist with general patient care as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Summary

X-Ray Technician provides expertise in X-Ray techniques, policies and procedures and works to support the entire clinic team with both X-Ray and Medical Assistant duties.

Responsibilities

• As an X-Ray Technician you will perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
• Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
• Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
• Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
• Work closely with the Center Administrator, Medical Staff, Front Office Specialist and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
• Ensure occupational client’s preferences are followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
• Cross trained for front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, day-end close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
• May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations.
• Work with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services.
• Assist with general patient care when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences
• Current state X-Ray License in active status (AZ, NV, CO and CA).
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial
• Current First Aid/ CPR certification from recognized program (American Red Cross, etc.) required or completed within first 60 days of employment.
• Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
