Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT registered and hold a Florida General Radiographer license; MRI technologist performing MRI does not require a General Radiographer license.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Graduate of an AMA Accredited Educational Radiologic Technology Program for Radiologic Technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for examination, positions patient and assists radiologist during procedures.
• Reviews patient records to verify physician's order prior to examination.
• Cross trains in other specialty areas/departments as workload demands.
• Inspects films for quality and ensures correct patient data before interpretation.
