Job summary

Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a dependable PRN Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to join our Gate Parkway location in Jacksonville, Florida. The role offers flexible, as-needed shifts in an outpatient-only setting.

You will perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and staff to deliver exceptional imaging services in a spa-like environment.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT(R) certification – Required.
• Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license – Required.
• Current BLS certification – Required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical radiologic technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Review patient medical histories and verify physician orders prior to examinations.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and understanding.
• Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently while following radiation protection guidelines.
• Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Assist radiologists with procedures, including arthrograms, as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and examination records.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure efficient patient care.
• Assist with other imaging departments and operational needs as appropriate.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked examination rooms.
