Qualifications

• Current California X-ray permit (expanded scope ideal) is required.
• CPT I certification.
• Experience performing EKGs, blood draws, vital signs, and IM injections.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Vocational certificate in Medical Assistant.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients and record vital signs.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination.
• Drape patients and position instruments and equipment.
• Hand instruments to doctor as directed.
• Sterilize instruments.
• Inventory and order medical supplies.
• Operate X-ray, EKG, and other equipment for routine tests.
• Provide injections or treatments and perform routine lab tests.
• Enter data into computer to maintain records.
