Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a part-time PRN Student Tech Xray at Bell Hospital. The Radiology Technologist Trainee will perform x-ray procedures under supervision until board-certified, with rotation across campus locations and imaging facilities.

Ideal candidates are active Radiologic Technology students with at least 6 months of clinical experience, basic life support, and a proactive approach to safety and patient care in fast-paced departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Radiologic Technology currently active student in an accredited program.
• 6+ months of clinical experience in radiology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Competently operate fixed and mobile x-ray equipment.
• Support safety, policy, and infection control requirements.
• Ensure timely patient care and effective communication across the department.
• Assist leadership in process improvement and data collection.
• Support patient satisfaction and HCAHPS initiatives.
