Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist for ambulatory imaging across multiple KU locations in Kansas. The role requires competency with fixed and mobile x-ray equipment, with responsibilities spanning high- and low-acuity outpatient settings.

Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma and a 2-year Radiology Technology program, with preferredas Associates or Bachelor’s degrees.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate.
• Graduate of a 2 year accredited Radiology Technology program.
• Associates Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) for Kansas; ARRT Radiography certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Competent in the use of fixed and mobile x-ray equipment across locations.
• Perform radiographic procedures in high- and lower-acuity settings as needed.
• Participate in training of student technologists.
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
