Advocate Sherman Hospital is seeking a part-time Radiology Technologist to operate X-ray equipment, document procedures, and ensure image quality. Shifts are primarily midshift, with weekend, call, and holiday rotation.
This role requires an ARRT certification and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with familiarity in RIS/PACS and patient safety practices. The position offers 20 hours per week with benefits eligibility.

Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE) Scheduling: Weekend, call, and holiday rotation required. Shift: 2nd Shift - Primarily Mid-shift (10am-3:00pm start). May work PM shift (11:00pm start)
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. IEMA Accreditation in Radiologic Technology ARRT (RT) Certification or Certificate Eligible. For new graduates, ARRT must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
Ability to work weekends and holidays in order to accommodate patient care needs. Ability to work rotating shift any day of the week. Ability to take call and arrive on site within one hour May be exposed to radiation during procedures. May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time or be required to lift and move patients May be exposed to hazardous materials, infectious disease and required to participate in annual emergency drills. Required to maintain current CPR certification. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent.
