Jobot in Southington, CT is seeking a full-time X-Ray Tech to operate imaging equipment and support orthopaedics care. The role is on-site, Monday–Friday, 11 AM to 8 PM with a 1-hour lunch, plus one rotating weekend every six weeks with weekend differential.

You will work in a private practice focused on orthopaedics, sports medicine, and related care, following strict radiation safety and documentation protocols while contributing to patient diagnosis and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (associate degree often required).
• CT State radiologic technologist license and ARRT certification (where required).
• Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Follow radiation protection protocols with shields, aprons, and proper exposure settings.
• Review X-rays for clarity, retake if needed, and log files into the EMR.

Job Details

We are looking to hire a full-time X-Ray Tech to work Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 8 PM with a 1 hour lunch break.

The X-Ray Tech would have 1 rotating weekend every 6 weeks and would get paid the additional weekend differential.

Operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs that help providers evaluate injuries and medical conditions

Follow strict radiation protection protocols, including using lead shields, aprons, and proper exposure settings for patients and staff.

Review X-rays for clarity and accuracy, retake images if needed, and transmit or log files into the electronic medical record

Key Qualifications

• Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (typically an associate degree).


• Licensure & Certification: CT State radiologic technologist license and certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (where required).


• Certifications: Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
