Job summary

Phaxis in Newark, DE is seeking an ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist for a rewarding outpatient role. You will perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays using the Fusion One PACS system, position patients, and explain imaging procedures with compassion in a fast-paced setting.

You'll review information with physicians, ensure image quality, document studies in EMR/PACS, and follow radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist is required.
• Active Delaware Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• Experience with PACS imaging systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays using the Fusion One PACS imaging system.
• Position patients accurately while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions with compassion.
• Review clinical information with physicians before imaging studies.
• Evaluate image quality prior to submission for interpretation.
• Document imaging studies in the EMR and PACS systems.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and patient protection standards.
• Assist patients with transfers and positioning during exams.
• Process imaging requests and coordinate medical imaging records.
• Prepare and maintain imaging rooms and equipment.
• Sterilize equipment using an autoclave and maintain supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide patient care.
