Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic X‑Ray Tech to help us reach our goals.
Responsibilities
- As an X-Ray Technician you will perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
- Perform quality control checks and audits on radiologic equipment.
- Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in‑house lab tests, including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
- Maintain records and logs on activities including in‑house lab work, drug screens, and X-rays sent out to other labs.
- Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
- Be cross‑trained for front desk duties, including greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, End of Day close‑out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
- May be required to work alternate shifts and/or float to other clinic locations; work with all clinic staff to coordinate efforts and ensure patients receive high‑quality care and services.
- Assist with general patient care when needed.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
- Hold an LRT (Limited Radiologic Technologist) license in Virginia.
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient‑care setting is beneficial.
- Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
- Office Laboratory Assistant License if required by the state.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and a Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
