Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Image Review in Indianapolis, IN. You will use X-ray screening technology to identify prohibited items, support access control, and maintain documentation while delivering professional customer service.

This fast-paced logistics and distribution site offers a full-time schedule, including afternoon/evening shifts, at a pay rate of $17.22 per hour.

Qualifications

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery partners while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
Screen individuals, packages, and belongings using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; report prohibited or suspicious items to appropriate site contacts.
Control access to restricted operational areas by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized individuals to designated locations.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
