Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is growing and seeks a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our team. You’ll perform X-ray procedures, ensure patient safety, and support patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• Mastery of x-ray procedures and safety
• Understanding anatomy and physiology for radiology
• Knowledge of radiology equipment and safety
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Strong customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down all X-Ray equipment
• Identify patient and verify orders
• Prepare patients and perform x-rays per procedures
• Obtain patient history and document observations
• Apply radiation protection and shielding
• Ensure equipment functioning and report malfunctions
• Complete radiology procedures in EMR and bill
• Obtain pre-authorization for CT scans
• Verify X-Ray in PACS and report availability
• Clarify discrepancies with medical provider
• Stock and clean site with team
• Participate in quality control/assurance
• Support patient flow and triage calls

Education

Minimum High School degree or equivalent

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Active ARRT Certification and Registration

Applicable state licensure

Active Driver’s License
