Job summary

Chicago Magnesium Casting and Midwest Aerospace Casting, LLC. seeks an X-Ray Department Material Handler/Scriber to support production scheduling, organize parts, and ensure traceable serialization per customer specs.

You will train new employees, maintain film and log records, and uphold safety and cleanliness in a busy manufacturing area. Responsibilities include coordinating parts flow, Kanban cell organization, and adhering to traveler processes and storage guidelines while using CMCC

Qualifications

• High school/GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to follow strict procedures and document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with supervisor and operations to set and maintain daily/weekly/monthly x-ray schedule.
• Organize carts and baskets of parts in staging areas and route to other departments as needed.
• Manage part flow from staging to Kanban cells and x-ray booths per schedule.
• Ensure understanding of customer requirements and impact of material handling on quality.
• Review and inspect all material for correct part identification and routing.
