Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed an ACR-approved Radiologic Technology program for radiology and mammography preferred unless training.
• Mass License in Radiography and Mammography (or working towards Mammography certification) must be received within 2 years.
• ARRT Registered Technologist Radiography; ARRT Mammography certification or progress toward certification within 2 years.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures with independent judgment to facilitate diagnosis.
• Provide proper care following hospital policies and supervise/instruct department personnel as determined.
• Operate and troubleshoot mammography equipment and PACS; maintain infection control and patient confidentiality.
