Fort HealthCare in Fort Atkinson, WI seeks a compassionate X-ray Technologist/Lab Technician to join the Jefferson Clinic team. You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, collect blood specimens, and support lab duties under physician direction, with emphasis on patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in general radiography.
• ARRT certification required.
• Wisconsin Radiographer License required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Successful completion of laboratory competency requirements and annual point-of-care testing competencies.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently performs basic to advanced x-ray and fluoroscopic procedures. Operates c-arm and fluoroscopy to produce quality imaging, assisting physicians.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures and obtain clinical history.
• Collaborates with radiologists via PACS for image review and assignment.
• Maintains patient documentation in PACS and EMR.
• Maintains imaging equipment and initiates repair requests as needed.
• Collects specimens, performs venipuncture and waived testing procedures.
• Organizes and restocks the outpatient drawing area and supplies.
• Orders lab and medical supplies as requested.
• Performs EKGs as needed.
