Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Active Radiology Technologist License with the Indiana State Board of Health.
• Active Radiology Technologist Certification with ARRT.
• Must maintain minimum licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select exposure factors per doctor’s protocol.
• Operate imaging equipment and follow ALARA safety standards.
• Evaluate radiologic images for quality and accuracy.
• Document views performed on patient encounter forms.
• Return patient to exam room after x-ray is completed.
• Utilize MedStrat PACS for image storage and transfers.
• Perform annual Lead Checks.
• Cross covers all diagnostic X-ray areas.
• Work well with doctors, extenders and clinical staff.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and on a Saturday rotation.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Active Radiology Technologist License with Indiana State Board of Health

Active Radiology Technologist Certification with ARRT
