Responsibilities

• Prepare the x-ray room for the patient and obtain necessary x-rays.

• Maintain exam rooms and assigned pod for cleanliness and appropriate materials.
• Verify physician’s surgery schedules to confirm correct imaging is obtained prior to the procedure and that films are delivered to the appropriate person or surgery location for the physician.
• Discuss findings and treatment with physician as needed.
• Act as the physician liaison between patients and the doctors in regards to patient questions and concerns.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Description

The Radiologic Technologist will assist with total care for the patient. After taking patients to their rooms, the Radiologic Technologist may assist the provider with any treatment that the patient will be receiving. The Radiologic Technologist will obtain x-ray imaging studies when needed. The Radiologic Technologist will make sure the patient is comfortable and answer any questions they may have under the guidance of the physician.
