Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist – X-ray for East Madison Hospital, responsible for performing diverse imaging exams on patients across all age groups.

This position requires troubleshooting technical issues, making swift decisions during imaging, and possibly instructing others. The role is 100% FTE with a focus on work-life balance, backed by an excellent benefits package including a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience required.
• 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification required upon hire.
• Wisconsin Radiological License required upon hire.
• CPR certification within 3 months required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of imaging exams on patients.
• Troubleshoot maintenance and resolve issues related to image processing.
• Serve as a clinical instructor and participate in research.
