Job summary

Bingham Healthcare is seeking a skilled X-Ray/CT Technologist to join our Radiology team in Southeast Idaho. You’ll work with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other professionals to provide essential diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced, community hospital setting.

We offer flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time options, including day and night shifts. You will grow your radiology and CT skills while contributing to high-quality patient care close to home in Southeast Idaho.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of, or eligible to graduate from, a recognized Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT certification required, or registry eligible with certification pending.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures with clear instructions to reduce anxiety.
  • Perform diagnostic imaging: general radiography, fluoroscopy, portable X-ray, C-arms, and CT.
  • Position patients based on condition and exam requirements.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Process and manage diagnostic images accurately and efficiently.
  • Review images for quality and completeness; make adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including exam orders and paperwork.
  • Communicate professionally with patients and families.

What You'll Do

As an X-Ray/CT Technologist, you'll provide safe, accurate, and compassionate diagnostic imaging services while helping physicians and other providers make important decisions about patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions to achieve optimal results while reducing anxiety
  • Perform diagnostic imaging using general radiography, fluoroscopy, portable X-ray units, C-arms, and CT equipment
  • Position patients appropriately based on their condition, physical abilities, and the requirements of each examination
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
  • Process and manage diagnostic images accurately
  • Review images for quality and completeness and make adjustments as necessary
  • Review patient charts and available clinical information to identify potential contraindications or concerns
  • Assist radiologists and physicians during procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including exam orders, required paperwork, and fiscal responsibilities
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and families
  • Maintain equipment and imaging areas in a clean, safe, and operational condition
  • Ensure appropriate supplies are available for procedures
  • Follow all radiation safety and hospital policies
  • Complete required training and competency checklists for new equipment and technology
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain current knowledge of imaging practices and technology

Qualifications
Education

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
