Qualifications

• ARRT credential or eligibility within required timeframe.
• Proficiency with X-ray and CT equipment and imaging protocols.
• Knowledge of imaging practices and image quality optimization.
• Strong Radiation Safety principles and dose optimization.
• Foundational knowledge of Medicine and anatomy.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to provide patient-centered care and effective communication.
• Detail-oriented with follow-through and teamwork.
• Hospital or clinical imaging experience, CT preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray and CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging and verify patient identification and procedure details.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and adhere to radiation safety standards.
• Document procedures in the EHR and communicate clearly with patients and families.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to support accurate diagnoses.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and support workflow efficiency.
• Follow organizational policies and infection prevention guidelines.
