Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital's freestanding ER in Seabrook, NH is seeking a Multimodality Technologist to operate CT and X-ray equipment and deliver high-quality diagnostic images. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, and position them to capture optimal images as requested by physicians.

You will interpret instructions, administer contrast materials, assist radiologists with contrast and biopsies, and maintain sterile, ready examination rooms across CT and X-ray procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• One year CT and X-Ray Experience.
• ARRT-CT Registered.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images.
• Explain procedures to patients and position them to capture optimal images.
• Interpret scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT/X-ray equipment.
• Assist radiologist with medication/contrast administration, biopsies and patient care.

Job Summary

As a Multi-Modality Technologist, you will operate CT and X-ray equipment, to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. You will prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.

• You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan and X-Ray equipment.
• Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures, as well as X-Ray.
• Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
