Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist to operate CT and X-ray equipment, producing cross‑sectional images to aid diagnosis. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, and position them to capture optimal images per physician requests.

Qualifications include graduation from an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT‑CT registration, 1 year CT/X-ray experience, and an Associate Degree. BLS within 30 days of start date is required.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning.
• Assist radiologist with administration of medications and contrast agents, and with biopsies.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT and X-ray procedures and maintain cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and ensure a ready room.
• Follow physician instructions for scanning and ensure image quality.

Job Summary

As a Multi-Modality Technologist, you would operate CT and X-ray equipment, to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. You will prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.

• You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan and X-Ray equipment.
• Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures, as well as X-Ray.
• Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• One year CT and X-Ray Experience.
• ARRT-CT Registered.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
