Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is hiring a Supervising Radiographer for the Division of Correctional Health Services at NYC Health + Hospitals. The role is based on Rikers Island at the CHS facilities, with a regular full-time schedule from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday.

A NY General Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT certification, and at least two years of radiology experience are required.

Qualifications

• Current valid NY license as General Radiological Technologist.
• Minimum of two years’ radiology experience.
• ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review exam orders, consult with radiologist, schedule patients and arrange transportation.
• Identify patient and document information for final report in RIS and on images (PACS).
• Prepare patients of all ages for radiological procedures and ensure protection from infectious hazards.
• Perform general diagnostic imaging including CT and angiography.
• Maintain imaging equipment and logs per QA guidelines and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure examinations are accessioned and sent to PACS for reading.
