Job summary

PHYSICIAN AFFILIATE GROUP OF NEW YORK seeks a Radiology Technologist to support the CHS division at Rikers Island. You will review orders, prepare patients, and perform CT and Angiography while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Required NY license, ARRT certification, and at least two years of experience. The role operates on a full-time schedule with union benefits and strict privacy compliance in a correctional health setting.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current valid General Radiologic Technologist license issued by New York State.
• License must be presented at appointment interview.
• Appointees must maintain their license to retain the Supervising Radiographer position.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current ARRT professional certification.

Responsibilities

• Review exam orders and coordinate with radiologists.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures according to clinician requests.
• Perform general diagnostic imaging including CT and Angiography.
• Conduct routine checks of imaging equipment and safety protocols.
• Ensure patient privacy and HIPAA compliance in all steps.
• Document and report any incidents per QA guidelines.
