The Position

The goal of this project is to develop a GUI to display time resolved photoelectron spectroscopy data measured at the SXP instrument. The scope of the project includes:

• Development of a GUI to display data preprocessed with an existing library (toolbox-SXP)


• Adapt algorithms and analysis procedures to the GUI


• Collaborate in implementing visualisation tools based on EuXFEL data analysis tools

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or similar field


• Good knowledge of Python, especially PyQt


• Highly motivated to work in an international team


• Really good knowledge of the English language

Assets

• Experience with git or similar version control system


• Experience with software testing and continuous integration
