Job summary

Camelot Community Care Inc. is seeking a skilled Adoptions Recruitment Specialist to advance the recruitment of foster children for adoption initiatives in Florida.

You will design community outreach efforts, engage with care managers, respond to inquiries, and ensure eligible children and families are linked to supportive services. The role emphasizes strong collaboration with local programs and a data-driven reporting approach.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in human services or related field required.
  • 4–10 years of related experience required.
  • Proven ability to design and implement community recruitment campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Selects and recruits foster children for targeted recruitment.
  • Designs and runs community recruitment campaigns using media and public events.
  • Participates in community adoption activities.
  • Responds to adoption inquiries via designated lines.
  • Ensures children are listed on Florida's adoption exchange and Hillsborough Kids sites.
  • Builds relationships with child and care managers to support adoption readiness.
  • Refers waiting children and recruited families to supportive services.
  • Provides monthly recruitment and program reports to supervisor.

Other duties may beassigned.1. Selects foster children for whom child specific and targeted recruitment will be required2. Designs and carries out a community recruitment campaign using media, public awarenessactivities and presentations3. Participates in community adoption activities4. Responds to adoption inquiry calls received on designated Wendy's Wonderful Kids 1-800 line5. Ensures identified children are registered on Florida's internet adoption exchange andHillsborough Kids, Inc.'s adoption website6. Establishes relationships with child and care manager to ensure appropriate interventions areprovided to prepare child for adoption and engagement in recruitment process7. Refers waiting children and recruited families to appropriate supportive services that enhancerecruitment effort8.
