Position Summary

Overview:
Guided by a belief in extensive data analysis and a commitment to collaborative global relationships, the Industrial Wastewater (IWT) team is responsible for providing continuous compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulations. At our wastewater plant on the Samsung Semiconductor campus, our Operations team’s drive for sustainability and operational excellence is balanced by our need to adopt tomorrow’s technologies to ensure plant resilience, environmental stewardship, and the safety of our staff.

As a wastewater Technician for our 24/7 Operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining assigned industrial wastewater systems including but not limited to: Activated Sludge, Multi Media Filters, Reverse Osmosis, Ion Exchange, Ultrafiltration, Brine Concentrator, Crystallizers, Boilers, Centrifuges, Heat Exchangers, Biological Nutrient Removers (BNR) and Membrane Bioreactors (MBR) systems in such manner as to ensure optimal facility operations.

Role and Responsibilities

• MonitorEquipment/Process:monitorsequipmentandsystemsincurrentstateandproactivelylooksforwaystoimprovesystemreliability.Assistothersintheareaofresponsibilitytomitigateimpactstoequipmentandsystems.Maintainandoperateequipmentassociatedwithwastewatertreatmentprocess.
• Performequipmentroundsandreadings.Abletoaccessallequipmentareasandsystemsincludingbutnotlimitedtoequipmentrooms,chemicalareas(includingcontainmentbays)andcatwalks.
• Respondstoequipment/systemfailuresandperformsinitialtroubleshooting.Create,maintain,andaddimprovementstooperationalSOP’s
