General Responsibilities:
  • Support vocational development of individuals with disabilities by managing inventory tasks.
  • Oversee daily inventory activities such as receiving, counting, labeling, and organizing materials.
  • Maintain accurate records using inventory management systems.
  • Work closely with individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing guidance and support.
  • Adapt inventory processes to meet the needs of team members with disabilities.
  • Promote an inclusive and respectful work environment.
  • Train individuals in inventory procedures to build their skills.
  • Communicate with supervisors and other departments regarding inventory needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and compliance.
  • Support and develop inventory training goals and monitor progress.
  • Understand and incorporate Personal Outcomes Measures related to vocational activities.
  • Adhere to internal procedures and legal requirements.
  • Represent the organization in community and professional activities.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in inventory management or related fields preferred.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory software preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with individuals with disabilities.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Knowledge of assistive tools and techniques is advantageous.
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
  • Valid driver’s license and approved driving privileges.
Physical and Mental Demands:

Must be able to handle physical tasks such as lifting over 50 pounds, and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must maintain confidentiality and adapt to changing situations.
