Brown & Brown is seeking a WSI Auto Claims Supervisor to join our growing team in Garden City, NY!
This WSI Auto Claims Supervisor will be responsible for the daily supervision of the automobile unit. This position requires supervising claims from all 50 states.
How You Will Contribute:
Supervise, direct, assist and support a team of auto adjusters
Assure the prompt investigation, evaluation, and disposition of all first- and third-party automobile property damage claims, and automobile property damage liability claims as well as automobile bodily injury, Med Pay, No-Fault, UM/UIM claims
Assure the prompt reserving of all claims managed within the automobile unit
Assure an effective working relationship with our clients, brokers, and attorneys
Assure an effective working relationship with all disciplines
Assure prompt re-insurance reporting
Manage the subrogation process
Conduct timely performance reviews and compliance audits of adjuster’s files
Assist in the selection , training, and development of all employees within the unit
Accept temporary assignments away from the office to assist large claim events
Prepare written documents for company and carrier reporting
Participate in and prepare responses for Arbitration
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid driver’s license/Real ID
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Bachelor’s degree or life experience
At least eight years of experience in handling commercial automobile claims
Experience with catastrophic claim handling
Home State General Adjusters License and ability to obtain adjusters license in States that require licensing
Good telephone demeanor
Proficient use of a PC
Pay Range
$95,000 - $105,000 AnnualThe pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
