Blick Art Materials in Galesburg, IL is seeking Production Associates to operate wood cutting, joining, printing and framing equipment and to perform related production tasks.

You will process production orders, pack and ship finished products, move inventory with pallet jacks or motorized trucks, and uphold safety standards. Founded in 1911, Blick Art Materials is the largest and oldest provider of art supplies in the United States.

Qualifications

• Prolonged walking and standing required.
• Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs using proper lifting techniques and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains wood cutting, joining, printing and framing equipment
• Processes all production orders efficiently, timely and accurately
• Packs and ships finished products
• Moves inventory using motorized industrial trucks, pallet jacks or dollies
• Discharges all assigned responsibilities in a safe, responsible manner
• All other assigned duties as directed by Management Team

Your Role

Overall Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains wood cutting, joining, printing and framing equipment
• Processes all production orders in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner
• Packs and ships finished products
• Moves inventory utilizing motorized industrial trucks, pallet jacks or material moving dolly’s
• Discharges all assigned responsibilities in a safe, and responsible manner
• All other assigned duties as directed by members of the Management Team

• Ability to lift and carry 70 lbs. using appropriate lifting techniques and adhering to all safety rules

Pay Rate

The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

• $17.00 - $18.00 per hour + semi-annual bonus
