Piedmont Virginia Community College is seeking a part-time Writing Tutor to assist students in developing their writing skills across disciplines. This role involves collaboration with students one-on-one and in groups, focusing on enhancing their academic success.

Writing Center tutors collaborate with students to develop their writing across disciplines, also their skills in other humanities subjects at Piedmont Virginia Community College. Other subjects are based on the tutor’s academic background and comfort level. Writing tutors are embedded in composition courses to foster student success and build connections with the Writing Center.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
