Job summary

William Penn University seeks a Graduate Assistant to develop leadership capabilities among students, staff, and faculty, using relevant technologies and exemplifying the Quaker virtues of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, and equality.

The GA will support athletics programs, assist coaches, coordinate activities, and contribute to a positive, well-organized environment under the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Coaching experience required; college coaching experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience working with students, staff, alumni, and the public is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting and retention of student-athletes.
• Coordinate travel plans with the Transportation Director.
• Monitor academic performance and attendance.
• Maintain the scholarship average designated by the university for all student-athletes.
• Foster a positive role model and ensure sportsmanship.
• Ensure compliance with NAIA and HAAC regulations and guidelines.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
