East Lincoln Middle School is seeking a Wrestling Assistant Coach to support the program and provide leadership for student-athletes. This part-time position requires coordinating with the principal and athletic director, ensuring proper safety protocols and facilitating practice and competition activities.

The role emphasizes coaching experience, compliance with NFHS and CPR requirements, and adherence to HR onboarding, drug testing and health screening policies prior to working with students.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Coaching experience preferred; completion of NFHS coaching courses required.
• CPR certification required for paid coaches; background check and health screenings are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, developing and implementing an instructional program in wrestling.
• Supports administration of the wrestling program and maintains a learning-conducive climate.
• Fosters positive relations with participants, staff, parents and the community.
• Cooperates with the head coach and school staff to organize coaching personnel and activities.
• Demonstrates professional conduct, ongoing skill development and effective communication.
