We’re a successful, fast-growing company based in Louisville, Kentucky, with a national expansion. In the past five years, we’ve grown from 60 to over 400 employees, with an average revenue growth of 50% annually over the last 8 years.

Please note: This is a hybrid role, involving approximately 20 hours as a Motorcycle Mechanic and 20 hours as a General Maintenance Technician.

Job Overview

The Private Motorcycle Mechanic is responsible for the care, maintenance, and restoration of a personal motorcycle collection. This role requires working independently to ensure each motorcycle is in excellent mechanical condition, ready for display or riding, with high standards of workmanship, discretion, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in motorcycles
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake inspections, and tune-ups
• Inspect motorcycles for wear and damage; advise customers on necessary repairs
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to test performance and safety
• Maintain detailed records of repairs and services
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
• Stay updated on motorcycle technologies and repair techniques
• Use power tools proficiently
• Basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, HVAC (a plus), painting skills
• Forklift experience (a plus)
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stay on feet long periods, climb ladders, etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
• Proven experience as a motorcycle mechanic or technician
• Strong understanding of motorcycle systems and components
• Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Motorcycle license and endorsement (preferred)

Compensation is hourly and depends on experience.
