An auto service company located in Lake City, Florida, is looking for a Wrecker Operator to safely operate a Heavy Duty Wrecker and handle vehicle recoveries. Candidates should have a valid CDL Class A license and preferably experience as a Wrecker Operator. The position offers a base pay for 40 hours and commission based on performance. A clean driving record and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in truck driving or as a Wrecker Operator preferred.
• Must have an up-to-date DOT Physical.
• Clean driving record is essential.
• Experience in truck driving or wrecker operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Heavy Duty Wrecker and/or Medium Duty Roll/Wrecker.
• Load/unload/Recover vehicles and work accident scenes.
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch immediately.
• Report issues to dispatch immediately.
• Inspect truck for repairs and safety; inventory tools.
• Be on call nights and rotating weekends; work with law enforcement when needed.

We are seeking a Wrecker Operator to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a Wrecker/Rollback with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Must live within 15 miles of Lake City or be willing to move within 15 miles of Lake City. Paid, Base pay and Commission

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Heavy Duty Wrecker and/or a Medium Duty Roll/Wrecker
• Load/unload/Recover Vehicles, work Accident scenes
• Properly fill Wrecker Invoices and get all information from Vehicles and Customers
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch immediately no matter how small.
• Inspect truck for needed repairs and safety.
• Inventory tools and supplies on Wrecker/Rollbacks
• Be on call nights and rotating weekends. Days off will vary. We work with Law Enforcement for Recovery and Accidents
