Job description

Priority Personnel is hiring a 3rd shift Wrapper Operator for a manufacturing company located in San Marcos, TX.

Pay rate: $17.00/hour with $1.00 shift differential

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday/10:00pm-6:30am

Job Duties:

• Set up and operate machinery to manufacture complex products and customized bundles per work orders.
• Accurately record all necessary information needed for traceability and inventory control.
• Perform routine maintenance and maintain proper adjustment of machinery. Replace worn parts and lubricate machines as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and notify Inventory Control of low levels or defective materials.
• Movement of raw and finished materials, manually lifting up to 50 pounds or using forklift when necessary.
• Regularly review and remain current on Operating Procedures, Quality Procedures and Manufacturing Specifications regarding the wrapping process.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area using LEAN Manufacturing principals
• Work in a Team environment

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience required
• Education High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experienceor training in forklift operation.
• Experienced in the use of hand tools and machinery.
