Job summary

Strategic Factory in Owings Mills, MD is seeking an Installation Specialist to complete in-shop and on-site vehicle graphic installations and signage projects with a focus on quality and customer service.

You\'ll prep, quality-check, install graphics, load vehicles, and record job data while working with power and hand tools in a fast-paced environment. DOT and background checks are required, and relocation is covered according to policy.

Qualifications

• Two years of signage and vehicle graphic installation experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening; DOT compliance.

Responsibilities

• Quality check and package completed jobs for transport to customer sites.
• Receive vehicles; remove and install graphics/wraps in-shop.

Position Summary

While working as an installation specialist, you will be tasked with completing the technical aspects of installation while also assisting the customer throughout the installation process. You will be responsible for prepping and quality checking completed projects post-production, installing vehicle wraps and vinyl graphics within our shop, as well as visiting customer locations and installing various types of signage on-site in their offices. The person in this position assists with performing the operational functions of the department, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience and an accurate installation process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Quality check and package completed jobs for transport to customer sites.
• Receive customer vehicles; remove and install graphics/wraps in-shop.
• Load vehicles, pre-trip inspection of vehicles and tools and transporting signage for installation.
• Accurately install a variety of signage and large format materials using power and hand tools, adhesives, stud finders and leveling equipment, scaffolds and ladders.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers and a clean, safe and damage-free workspace while on-site.
• Interpret specifications, artwork, job orders, and company policies and procedures to make on-site decisions about final placement and application.
• Enter information into a computer/tablet in order to keep track of jobs and assignments, including providing pictures of completed work for both billing and marketing purposes.

• Lend assistance to other staff members as necessary

Requirements

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years experience in signage and vehicle graphic installation or similar.
• A high school diploma is required.
• The ability to pass a motor vehicle record check, background check, and pre-employment drug screening is required.
• DOT required (can be provided from company if needed)
• Knowledge of installation and construction concepts and safety practices.
• Must be okay with working at heights when necessary.
• Vision abilities required by this job are the ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less, the ability to identify and distinguish colors, and the ability to adjust focus.
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment is required!
