Job summary

Strategic Factory in Owings Mills, MD is seeking an installation specialist responsible for completing the technical aspects of installation, preparing and quality checking projects post-production, and installing vehicle wraps and vinyl graphics both in-shop and on customer sites.

You will load and transport signage, perform pre-trip inspections, work with hand and power tools, and maintain a safe, damage-free workspace while ensuring accurate placement per artwork and job orders.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in signage and vehicle graphic installation or similar.
• High school diploma is required.
• Must be able to pass motor vehicle record check, background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• DOT required (can be provided from company if needed).
• Knowledge of installation and safety practices.
• Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Vision abilities: see clearly at 20 inches or less, color discernment, focus adjustment.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Quality check and package completed jobs for transport to customer sites.
• Receive customer vehicles; remove and install graphics/wraps in-shop.
• Load vehicles, pre-trip inspection of vehicles and tools and transporting signage for installation.
• Accurately install a variety of signage and large format materials using power and hand tools, adhesives, stud finders and leveling equipment, scaffolds and ladders.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers and a clean, safe and damage-free workspace while on-site.
• Interpret specifications, artwork, job orders, and company policies and procedures to make on-site decisions about final placement and application.
• Enter information into a computer/tablet in order to keep track of jobs and assignments, including providing pictures of completed work for both billing and marketing purposes.
• Lend assistance to other staff members as necessary

Position Summary

While working as an installation specialist, you will be tasked with completing the technical aspects of installation while also assisting the customer throughout the installation process. You will be responsible for prepping and quality checking completed projects post-production, installing vehicle wraps and vinyl graphics within our shop, as well as visiting customer locations and installing various types of signage on-site in their offices. The person in this position assists with performing the operational functions of the department, ensuring an exceptional customer service experience and an accurate installation process.
