Avir at Bowie is seeking a qualified Wound Care Nurse to join our family. We are searching for an experienced nurse who is resident and family focused, a team builder, and excited about helping build a high-performing team and culture. The primary purpose is to maintain skin integrity, administer physician-prescribed treatments, and ensure accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a wound care capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Education, training, experience, or certification in infection control and prevention.
• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.

Responsibilities
