Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a dedicated RN to join the Wound Ostomy team at Roger C Peace Rehab Hospital. This role focuses on providing expert care to patients with wounds and ostomy needs, coordinating care and educating both patients and healthcare staff.

The ideal candidate should hold an Associate degree in Nursing with two years of experience as an RN, particularly in wound care. Certification in Wound and Ostomy care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an RN, preferably in skin and wound care.
• Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State required.
• Certification in Wound and Ostomy care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and consultation for patients with wounds and other conditions.
• Assess patient needs and communicate with healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on skin and wound care.
• Implement care management plans based on patient needs.
