Mercy is seeking a dedicated Wound Care Registered Nurse for a full-time Day position in Collinsville, IL. You will coordinate and oversee wound and ostomy care for a select group of patients, develop treatment plans, and educate staff on best practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, active Registered Nurse license in the hiring state.
• Must maintain licensure and meet State Board requirements.
• WCC or WOCN certification.

Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, and oversee nursing care for wound/ostomy patients.
• Assess and monitor complex wounds and develop treatment plans.
• Identify and monitor signs of infection and manage wounds safely.
• Educate clinical staff on proper wound care practices.
