Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Wound Care in Winston-Salem, NC, joining the WHC clinic team. You will assess wounds, develop care plans, perform cleansing, debridement, and dressings, and monitor healing progress in a collaborative outpatient setting.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, travel to three locations, and opportunities to advance with wound specialty certifications within a supportive team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• Current RN license in appropriate state; wound certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with advanced wound care products and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assess, stage, and document wounds
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform wound treatments (cleansing, debridement, dressing)
• Monitor healing progress and adjust care as needed
• Educate patients, families, and staff on wound care and prevention
• Collaborate with providers and care teams
• Ensure infection control compliance
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation

What We're Looking For

• Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
• Experience: 2 years, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in appropriate state, required. Wound Certification, preferred.
