St. Rose Dominican San Martín is seeking an RN Wound Enterostomal Clinical Coordinator to lead specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care and to advance patient outcomes through direct clinical assessment and evidence-based treatment.

You will drive excellence through interdisciplinary consultation, protocol development, and staff education, translating data into actionable strategies for patient care and program efficiency.

Qualifications

• ASN required.
• Minimum of three years clinical experience; at least 1 year wound care experience within last 5 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or health-related field.
• Current RN license in NV.
• CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Currently enrolled in a BSN program with plan to complete within three years.

Responsabilités

• Attend workshops/seminars in ostomy or related topics to maintain expertise.
• Serve as resource person for nurses, physicians and other health care professionals within the hospital.
• Assist nursing staff in care of patients receiving WOC services.
• Assess and initiate care plans for referred ostomy, wound, fistula, incontinence, or skin breakdown cases.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a RN Wound Enterostomal Clinical Coordinator, you will be a clinical expert and program leader, pivotal in advancing specialized wound, ostomy, and continence care to significantly improve patient outcomes.

Every day you will drive excellence through direct clinical assessment, evidence-based treatment, interdisciplinary consultation, protocol development, and staff education.

Success in this role demands critical thinking, meticulous attention to clinical detail, and leadership acumen to translate complex data into actionable strategies for patient care and program efficiency.

• The Clinical Coordinator Enterostomy works within the scope of nursing practice and provides patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Completes monthly statistics of patients seen by the department.
• Attends workshops/seminars in ostomy and/or related topics to maintain expertise in clinical practice.
• Serves as resource person for nurses, physicians and other health care professionals within the hospital.
• Assists nursing staff in the nursing care of patients receiving WOC services.
• Assesses and initiates the plan of care for the management of referred patients with ostomies, wounds, fistulas, incontinence or actual or potential for skin breakdown.

Job Requirements

• Associate of Nursing
• Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience. 1 year (within the last 5years) recent wound care (ET) experience.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
• Bachelors Of Nursing or health related area
• Other current enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree program with an education plan approved by the CNE which will allow completion of the Bachelor's Degree program within three years.
• Registered Nurse: NV
• Basic Life Support - CPR - American Heart Association
