Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a Wound Care Clinician to deliver expert wound care and patient education in a hospital setting in Midland, TX. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, document patient progress, and educate patients and families on wound care strategies.

We value continuous learning, CPR-certified clinicians with a state license (RN/LPN/LVN, PT, OT) and at least two years of wound care experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician (RN, LPN/LVN, PT, OT) active in the state.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum two years of wound care experience.
• Commitment to ongoing wound care education.

Responsibilities

• Assists with wound evaluation and development of an appropriate plan of care for wounds.
• Documents patient care problems and progress.
• Orders appropriate specialty equipment for patients with supervisor approval.
• Educates patients and families on wound care strategies.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to execute treatment plans.
