Job summary

Vohra Physicians in Birmingham, AL seeks a General Surgeon to join our national wound care group. This mobile practice emphasizes bedside wound care in post-acute settings, with no nights, no calls, and no weekend duties.

You will visit 2-3 facilities daily, treat 20-30 patients, and participate in a 40–60 mile radius; training provided, W2 employment with comprehensive benefits, and a 30-hour work week option.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
• Clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during rounds using our EMR.
