Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Auburn, WA is seeking System Resource RNs to support adult hospitals and Freestanding EDs across the system. You will deliver nursing care using the nursing process, perform assessments, treatments and education, and advocate for patients and families.

This Per Diem, Day shift role offers exposure across multiple locations. Requirements include BSN, graduation from an accredited school of nursing, WA RN license (or MSL), 1 year acute care, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington or MSL endorsement.
• One year of acute care experience.
• Current BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients using the nursing process.
• Perform related assessments, procedures and treatments.
• Develop and revise patient care plans and educate patients/families.
• Serve as patient advocate and ensure safety and documentation compliance.

System Resource RNs provide a high-level of clinical nursing care to assigned patients, performing related assessments, procedures and treatments, evaluations, patient care plan development/revisions, and education to patient and/or family. System Resource RNs put the patient first and ensure that high quality care is given to assigned patients by following policies, clinical guidelines, safety systems such as medication scanning and bed alarm use, timely and accurate documentation, core measure compliance and serving as a patient advocate. The System Resource RNs make providing an exceptional patient/family experience high priority.

Requirements:

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $48.15 - $90.83 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
