Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on Washington's North Olympic Peninsula seeks a Wound Care Specialist to collaborate with clinicians in the OMP Wound Clinic. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for outpatients and coordinate patient care.

Requirements include a BSN, completion of a Wound Management Program, 3–5 years of wound care experience and Washington RN license with CWCN certification; BLS within 30 days. This is a full-time day shift with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Successful completion of an accredited Wound Management Program.
• Three to five years' Wound Care experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Previous case management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for outpatients in the wound clinic.
• Coordinate care for patients and communicate with clinicians.
• Interpret patient data to identify needs for advanced wound care and equipment.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the outpatient setting.
